PAST ACTIVITY – MILDURA DRAGON BOAT RACING

The Mildura RSL, RSL Active and the Mildura Dragon Boat Club (MDBC) hosted the very first event in Mildura for RSL Active on Saturday February 12, 2023.

While it may look like a fun, social way to exercise out on the water, however the event had a much deeper meaning, with veterans turning out with their families to connect with others and find like-minded people.

The first event saw 40 participants come and have a go at Dragon Boat Racing, it was a great first event with many veterans and their families all having a go.

RSL Active is a social, emotional, wellbeing project offering veterans and their families programs and activities to improve physical and mental health, while helping build relationships.
